Witty Old Man Seeking Viagra

We all know that Viagra (sildenafil) is used for erectile dysfunction (most of the time), but this elderly patient was seeking it for an off label use.

This gentleman was frequently asking his doctor and the nurses that worked with him if he could get “a little bit” of Viagra.  He was elderly, a fall risk, and on a bunch of blood pressure medications that certainly wouldn’t mix well with the Viagra, and obviously the doctor couldn’t help but think what he’d use it for anyway.  Finally after getting tired of the questioning, the doctor broke down and asked the elderly man what he wanted the Viagra for, and also why he was always insistent that he only needed “a little bit”. Obviously the doctor was expecting some sort of perverted answer.  The man spouted back, “I only need a little bit to keep me from peeing on my shoes.”

I guess he justified his need for just “a little bit” of Viagra 🙂 People never cease to amaze me.
